Wonderful wedding photography moments for Krystal and Edward’s Biggenden wedding.
By John Wilson – International Award Winning Photographer
When Krystal and Edward asked if I would be their wedding photographer at Biggenden in country Queensland I eagerly accepted. It’s great being a Sunshine Coast wedding photographer but I also love photographing weddings in regional areas also. They’re always a lot of fun and this wedding was no exception.
The day began with an early morning start for Krystal to get ready at her mother’s place in town.
Edward and the guys prepared for the big day ahead at his place just out of town. Edward’s little son got involved while dad got ready and made for some cute photos helping dad get ready for his wedding.
Krystal and the girls had some fun and laughter as the prepared but there were some last-minute dramas for Krystal when her bridesmaids and mother couldn’t get her dress laced up. Wedding ceremony time was swiftly approaching and tensions were rising but the day was saved when a guest came back from the ceremony location that knew the procedure. Krystal and entourage headed off to the quaint country hall for her wedding.
I took Edward and Krystal to a couple of locations for their formal photos. I had checked out a couple of places prior to their wedding and we were able to make some great wedding photos for them. Despite the cloudy evening, the photos of the couple with the magnificent Mt Walsh in the background looked fantastic. We also did a special photo shoot to incorporate the couples love of sports shooting. which made for some fun photos for the couple. The wedding reception at the Biggenden sports ground went long into the night with great food served up by the local CWA ladies.
